Wedding Photography FAQ
Everything you need to know before booking your wedding photographer
Planning your wedding is exciting, but it also comes with plenty of questions. Choosing the right photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make, as your photographs will become one of the few things that remain long after the day is over.
Below you'll find answers to the questions couples ask me most often. If you can't find what you're looking for, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
-
Once you've enquired and we've confirmed that your wedding date is available, I'll send you all the information you need, including the agreement and booking details. Your date is officially secured once the agreement has been signed and the booking fee has been received.
-
Most couples book between 12 and 24 months before their wedding, particularly for popular spring and summer dates. If you're planning a destination wedding or getting married during peak season, I recommend getting in touch as early as possible.
-
Yes. While most of the weddings I've photographed have taken place in Cyprus and Greece, I'm always excited to document celebrations in new destinations. Whether you're planning your wedding in Cyprus or elsewhere in Europe, I'd love to hear your plans and create a personalised proposal for your day.
-
Absolutely. I'm available to travel throughout Europe and beyond. Every destination wedding is unique, so travel costs are quoted individually depending on the location and schedule.
-
A booking fee of 30% secures your wedding date. The remaining balance is paid in instalments, making the process straightforward and stress-free.
-
If your new wedding date is available, I'll happily transfer your booking. If I'm already committed to another wedding, we'll discuss the available options together.
-
Yes. Before your wedding we'll arrange a meeting or video call to discuss your plans, timeline, important family members and everything you'd like me to know before your day.
-
Absolutely. A well-planned timeline makes a huge difference to both your experience and your photographs. I'm always happy to advise on the best timing for portraits, family photos and key moments throughout the day.
-
Of course. Having worked alongside many talented wedding professionals, I'm always happy to recommend planners, florists, celebrants, videographers and venues whenever I can.
-
Although it's not essential, many couples love having one. It's a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know each other, for you to become comfortable in front of the camera and to create beautiful photographs before the wedding.
-
My approach combines natural documentary storytelling with elegant editorial portraits. Throughout most of the day I quietly observe and capture genuine moments as they naturally unfold. During your portrait session, I'll gently guide you without making anything feel forced or overly posed.
-
Not at all. In fact, that's exactly what most couples tell me before their wedding. My goal isn't to turn you into professional models. It's to create an atmosphere where you can simply enjoy being together while I guide you naturally whenever needed.
-

Rain doesn't stop beautiful photographs.
We'll adapt the plan, make use of sheltered locations or simply embrace the atmosphere. Some of my favourite wedding images have been created in unexpected weather.
-
Weddings rarely run exactly on time, and that's perfectly normal.
I'll adapt throughout the day and work with your schedule to ensure the most important moments are beautifully documented.
-
Depending on the size and schedule of your wedding, I may recommend adding a second photographer. This allows even more moments, perspectives and guest interactions to be captured throughout the day.
-
Every wedding is different, so I don't promise a fixed number.
Instead, I deliver every carefully selected image that tells the complete story of your day while maintaining the highest quality throughout your gallery.
-
Every image is individually edited with great care to ensure a timeless and consistent result.

Temporary distractions such as small blemishes or minor skin imperfections are naturally removed when appropriate.
However, I don't believe in dramatically changing how people look. My aim is for your photographs to remain honest, elegant and timeless.

Long after the flowers have faded and the music has stopped, your photographs will remain.
They're one of the few lasting investments from your wedding day, preserving not only how everything looked, but how it truly felt.
